Creating A Baby’s Journal

Parents-to-be have a lot on their plate as they prepare for their little bundle of joy. We understand the anxiety of waiting for arrival of the baby, and thus we have created a whole lot of collection of Babies & Kids Readybooks for the proud parents-to-be to document these very special moments.

For the first time parent, we would like to suggest that you create a Baby Journal to keep all those special moments, images and notes in one neat photobook. We have the perfect Readybook called A Baby’s Journal , and we’ve taken a snapshot of the Readybook below. We’ve carefully created a whole story line for the Photobook so that you can easily put in the images and little snippets of story in the Photobook.

We hope you will find the above Readybook a good start for your little bundle of joy. As your child grows up, always remember to take snapshots of every milestone of his/her life and document them into a photobook. Photobooks are ideal keepsake items and we are very sure that you would want to show your child his growing up years when he/she is much older.

Happy Bookmaking.

5 Tips to Create A Customized Photobook Planner

Start the new year with your very own personalized Photobook Planner. And while you are at it, how about creating these personalized planners as gifts for your loved ones too? We will be sharing with you some tips on how to make your own photobook planner using our Photobook Designer (when you go to our website, please be sure to select your country of residence before downloading the Photobook Designer).

Now, before you start gather your best photos you’d like to include in the Photobook Planner – it can be your vacation photos, your pet’s photos, your family photos or even food photography! It would also be ideal to gather some words of wisdom or quotes to be inserted in your Photobook Planner. Once you have all these, its time to start!

Tip 1 : Choosing A Photobook Planner Size

We recommend choosing the 6” x 8”Small Landscape or 8 “ x 8” Small Square Imagewrap Hardcover or Softcover photo books. These book styles and sizes are very durable and are handy to carry around.

Tip 2 : Plan Your Photobook Planner

In most cases, you’ll want a planner that divides the year by each month. Make one spread (2 pages) for one month – so you’ll instantly have 24 pages for each month of the year.

Tip 3 : Introduction Pages

On your first page, give your planner a name. For example “Julia’s Fabulous Year: 2013”. You can include write-ups and your favourite images in the first few pages of the Photobook.

Tip 4 : Creating the months & days format

With double facing pages, on the left include a favourite photo as a full spread and on the right create small shaped boxes and line them seven per row (seven days per week). Insert a text box within each box shape and insert the number for the day. Include a title for the page such as the name of the month. Quick tip: save your spread as a page layout to use on your pages to come!

Tip 5 : Alternate the months pages with “Highlights”

Between the months, you can add in “Highlights” such as Notes, Photo Feature and Quotes.

We hope that you enjoy the tips we have shared with you. These customized Year Planner are great as personal gifts and corporate gifts – and we are sure that the recipient of these customized Year Planner will be more than delighted to receive them! If you are out to impress someone with your gift, consider the customized Year Planner.

Happy Book Planning!

P/S: Since we last wrote this post, we have created a Year Planner Readybook that you can use to make the Photobook Planner. With this Readybook you can still customize it by adding your own text, images and content – however you can now make one with very must less effort!
